I
teach Integrated Arts at an elementary school in St. Paul,
Minnesota. Our school is named Eastern Heights.
The
5th & 6th graders at Eastern Heights made a cd of their
original raps. We chose the theme RESPECT. We spent about
6 weeks on this project, with everyone pitching in, doing
what they like best.

Some of the students wrote and performed the raps.

Dancers worked with the rappers for our Spring Concert.
*
Artists designed different covers.
*
Techies recorded the raps and burned the cd’s.
